NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Western Athletic Conference awarded Stephen F. Austin Women's Field Athlete, Michelle Ogbemudia Conference Athlete of the week for track and field.
Ogbemudia, a sophomore, secured the women's shot put title at the Clyde Hart Classic on March 24-25. Ogbemudia topped her fifth round throw with an effort of 15.82m (51-11.0) to close the competition, the top mark in the WAC and the 26th-ranked throw nationally as of March 29.
