DENVER – Statement from the WAC Board of Directors.
"The Western Athletic Conference strives to be one of the elite mid-major conferences in the country and our institutions remain committed to that goal. Our league has established itself as highly competitive, including being a Top 15 men's basketball league while receiving multiple bids to the FCS playoffs. The league will continue to explore all avenues to solidify the future while providing our men's and women's student-athletes the very best experience possible. With institutions located in some of the fastest growing regions of the country, the WAC's best days are ahead!"
