
Five Ladyjacks Earn WAC Postseason Awards

ARLINGTON, Texas- Stephen F. Austin had five players win postseason awards, the WAC announced Tuesday morning. Haley Hoang was named Libero of the Year and to the Second Team All-WAC. Ielan Bradley was named to the First Team All-WAC, and Ariana Pagan was named to the Second Team All-WAC. Izabella Ortiz and Jayden Flynn were both named to the All-Freshman Team.
Hoang is currently ranked 36th in the nation in total digs, and is ranked 14th in the nation in digs per set. She is leading the conference in digs per set and second in total digs. Hoang set a career high with 35 digs against Sam Houston on 9/24, and has only had one game where she did not record double digit digs. She has also won Defensive Player of the Week 3 times this season and is currently leading the team in digs with 500.
Bradley recorded a new career high with 19 kills and against Tarleton on 9/22. She is currently 96th in the nation with a .338 hitting percentage, and 222nd in kills per set with 3.19. She is ranked second in the conference in hitting percentage and seventh in kills per set. Bradley also had 20 games with double digit kills and is leading the team in kills with 316, and second on the team with 69 blocks.
Pagan has recorded 9 double-doubles this season. She also has 15 games with double digit kills and 14 games with double digit digs. She is ranked second on the team with 251 kills this season, second in digs with 255, and second in aces with 28. She is currently second on the team with 2.64 kills per set. Pagan won WAC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season and was named to the SFA All-Tournament Teams.
Ortiz is ranked 222nd in the nation and first on the team with .99 blocks per set. She is currently 71st in the nation and third in the conference with a .353 hitting percentage. Bella is also ranked 199th in the country and third in the conference with 95 total blocks. She also won WAC Defensive Player of the Week once this year.
Flynn is ranked 47th in the nation, second in the conference, and leads the team with 43 aces. She is also ranked 50th in the nation, 3rd in the conference and leads the team with .43 aces per set. Flynn has recorded double-digit assists in every single game this season with her highest being 34 against Sam Houston on 9/24. She also has seven double-doubles this season.
