Ladyjacks Announce Their Schedule for the 2022-23 Season

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball team announced their schedule for the 2022-23 season Monday afternoon.
The non-conference schedule opens at home against UTSA on November 7th at 6:30 p.m. SFA then will go on the road to face Rice University at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Texas Southern will be making the trip to Nacogdoches on November 13th for a 2:00 p.m. tip-off.
The Ladyjacks will head to North Texas on November 16th at 6:30 p.m. SFA will then head to San Juan, Puerto Rico to participate in the Clasico Thanksgiving Tournament. They will play Morgan State on November 24th and then Boston College on November 26th at 4:00 p.m.
SFA will then host four non-conference games against Gonzaga (December 1st at 5:30 p.m.), Texas A&M-Texarkana (December 4th at 2:00 p.m.), Arizona State (December 11th at 2:00 p.m.), and Texas Wesleyan University (December 15th at 6:30 p.m.).
The Ladyjacks will travel to Miami to play in the Florida International Tournament December 19th and 20th. SFA will play Bradley University and George Mason University but times have not been confirmed yet.
The conference season starts on New Year's Eve (December 31st) as Abilene Christian visits Nacogdoches for its opener at 1:00 p.m. Utah Tech will come to Nacogdoches on January 5th at 6:30 p.m. to conclude the first week of WAC play.
SFA's first road trip will be a three-game swing starting at Grand Canyon on January 7th at 3:00 p.m., then California Baptist on January 12th, and ending with Seattle University on January 14th at 4:00 p.m.
The Ladyjacks will be back at home for two games against Utah Valley and University of Texas-Arlington on January 19th at 6:30 p.m. and 21st at 2:00 p.m., respectively. They will travel to Sam Houston on January 26th and will be back home for a matchup with CBU on January 28th at 2:00 p.m.
SFA will go back on the road on February 2nd and 4th for matchups with Tarleton State and ACU (1:00 p.m. tip-off). They will return home for games against UTRGV on February 8th at 6:30 p.m. and GCU on February 11th at 3:00 p.m.
The Ladyjacks will head to Utah for a two-game road trip against UTU on February 16th and Southern Utah on February 18th. SFA will return to Nacogdoches to play SHSU on February 23rd at 6:30 p.m. and New Mexico State on February 28th at 6:30 p.m.
The final regular season game for the Ladyjacks will be on the road at the UTA on March 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
