LUBBOCK, Texas --

The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks competed at the Texas Tech Open and Multi's this weekend, claiming several Top-5 finishes in a highly-competitive meet in Lubbock. Lewis Mills (1 Mile Run) and Maxwell Murphy (3000m Run) notched personal bests with Justin Garcia setting a school-record in the 600m run. Asani Hylton broke a school record in Heptathlon with 5,791 points, also good for No. 5 in NCAA Division I.

Both teams will be back in action at the Charlie Thomas Invitational and Multi's hosted by Texas A&M next Friday and Saturday.
