SFA Beach Volleyball Receives 2020-21 USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced this week that 1,275 collegiate and high school teams have earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 season.
This award honors teams with a GPA of 3.30 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or a 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
The SFA Beach Volleyball program posted a team GPA of 3.50 for full academic year, highlighted by earning the highest GPA across all sports during the fall semester (3.60). The squad featured seven student-athletes on the Dean's List in Fall 2020, and nine in Spring 2021. Between both semesters, nine combined 4.0's were achieved.
