SFA Ranks Within Top 20 in Nationwide HelperHelper Report

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The SFA Athletic department was ranked 18th among Division I programs for total service hours in a report released by HelperHelper this month. The recognition reinforces a successful focus on its departmental goal to make an impact on the local community through service hours by departmental staff, coaches and student-athletes. A total of 100 Division I programs partner with Helper Helper to record their service time, and SFA's rank of 18 is the second highest in the SLC and would place first among WAC institutions.
Breaking down the efforts of individual teams, SFA had four women's teams (Beach Volleyball #3, WBaskettball #10, Track/CC #5, Softball #4) and a pair of men's teams (Track/CC #2, MGolf #3) place within the top 10 nationally.
