KINGSVILLE, Texas --
The SFA Beach Volleyball team traveled to Texas A&M-Kingsville for a series a games between Ottawa (KS.) and Texas A&M-Kingsville this weekend, ending Day 1 with a 5-0 victory against Ottawa (KS.) for the program's first win of the 2021 campaign, falling to Kingsville, 4-1. The Ladyjacks will compete tomorrow as well, and will take on Ottawa at 11 a.m., followed by Kingsville at 1:00 p.m.
"I'm incredibly proud of our team today," said Head Coach Alex Luna. While tough to swallow, a hard fought loss early in the season is exactly what we needed. It's clear where we need to go after today and I feel the hunger from our team to get there. It was great to shake the nerves out with a convincing win to open up the season, that being said, I'm happy for those that knocked off their first collegiate win today!"
