SFA Cross Country Competes at Arturo Barrios Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The SFA cross country teams competed at the annual Arturo Barrios Invitational in Collee Station, Texas on Saturday, with the men taking 16th place and the women, 20th. The men's field consisted of 32 teams, while the women competed among 33 total teams.

The Lumberjacks were led by Lewis Mills, who finished 61st overall with a mark of 24:47.2. Close behind Mills was Max Murphy, who took 63rd overall with a time of 24:48.4, while Titus Kiplagat took 87th at 25:10.1. Riley Elliott (103rd - 25:19.8), Parker Jones (119th - 25:30.9) and Spencer Seale (223rd - 27:28.7) also ran for the 'Jacks.

On the women's side, Rachel Taylor was the top finisher for SFA in 74th place with a time of 22:02.2. Isabel Borrego took 97th with a mark of 22:23.5, followed by Allyson McCutcheon in 125th at 22:54.0. Megan Eichler finished 147th with a mark of 23:17.7, followed by Meredith Clayton in 161st with a time of 23:32.3 and Alexis Antkowiak in 167th and a time of 23:39.4. Maggie Marshall (194th - 24:03.6), Katrina Thoms (211 - 24:30.6) and Annie King (220 - 24:40.5) also ran for SFA.
