Southland Conference Tournament Canceled Due to Coronavirus Concerns

KATY, Texas -- The Southland Conference has issued the following statement in regards to th 2020 Southland Conference Tournament in Katy, Texas, amid concerns about the COVID-19 situation.
"The Southland Conference has been monitoring the situation with the coronavirus very closely. The health and safety of the student-athletes, coaches, officials, fans and other tournament personnel is of utmost importance. As a result, the Southland Conference has determined that the prudent course of action is to cancel the remainder of the tournament effective immediately."
Other details pertaining to the tournament and the continuation of postseason play are not yet known. This release will be adjusted with any updates on the status of the 2019-20 basketball postseason for the Lumberjacks and Ladyjacks.
