SFA Athletics Announces New Purple Lights Fund

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - SFA Athletics announced Wednesday the establishment of its new annual giving program – the Purple Lights Fund. The PLF serves as the comprehensive fundraising program for SFA Athletics that will allow the department to reach its goal of becoming the leading mid-major athletics department in the country.
"We are excited to launch the Purple Lights Fund," commented SFA Director of Athletics Ryan Ivey. "The PLF will provide an avenue to increase funds needed to improve the experience for all SFA student-athletes."
The PLF will house all annual giving programming for SFA Athletics including unrestricted & restricted gifts as well as a new parent giving program and premium seating options. It is primarily focused on three separate areas of giving:
• Unrestricted PLF – including traditional donor benefits• Victory Funds – sport specific giving
• Parent Partners – family giving program
Focused solely on these areas, the PLF will be situated to reach a wide variety of donors and increase the benefits and giving options available to our most loyal supporters and fans. "Whether you are an alumni, season ticket holder, parent, former student-athlete, faculty/staff member or just a casual SFA athletics fan, the PLF provides a unique opportunity to become involved and make a difference in the lives of SFA student-athletes," continued Ivey.
How to Give/Join:
Donors who gave in 2018-19 will receive a renewal statement via mail in the next few days. Simply fill out the renewal and send back to the PLF office to activate your membership for this athletic year.
New donors are encouraged to follow one of the below giving methods to join the PLF for 2019-20:

Online giving: The Purple Lights Fund online giving platform is currently under construction and should be ready to take online donations later this summer. In the meantime, please choose one of the above giving options to process your gift.
