
SFA Signs Radio Rights Extension with Q107.7

Townsquare Media station will continue to be exclusive broadcast rights partner of SFA through at least 2019-20
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - In an announcement made Tuesday by Stephen F. Austin athletics and its Learfield multimedia rights holder, Lumberjack Sports Properties, KTBQ-FM 107.7 has agreed on a three-year extension to remain the flagship radio broadcasting partner for select Lumberjack and Ladyjack games.
"We are excited about extending our partnership with Townsquare Media and KTBQ-FM 107.7," said Zach Daniel, the director of Lumberjack Sports Properties. "Partnering with a trusted, reliable media outlet in Townsquare Media helps us carry out our mission of growing the brand and footprint of SFA athletics."
Q107.7 FM continues to be the exclusive broadcast rights partner for SFA football, men's basketball and women's basketball games in addition to live broadcasts of the Coach Clint Conque Radio Show (football) and the Coach Kyle Keller Radio Show (men's basketball). The agreement ensures that all of the above programming will continue on SFA's Townsquare Media-owned flagship station through a minimum of the 2019-20 season.
"As a proud Lumberjack alumnus (class of '15), this is an exciting renewal for me," stated Mark Cunningham, director of sports programming at Townsquare Media - Lufkin. "However, we here at Townsquare Media are all excited to continue this partnership with Learfield. We are looking forward to another successful Lumberjack sports year for Stephen F. Austin State University."
All game broadcasts are set to start 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the game with a pregame show and will conclude 15 minutes following the conclusion of each contest following a postgame show. Longtime voice of the Lumberjacks Rob Meyers will continue his play-by-play duties for football and men's basketball and joining Meyers for SFA football in 2017 will be color analyst Dr. Kevin Langford.
