SFA Athletics Announces Partnership With TuneIn Streaming App

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin athletics today announced a partnership with TuneIn, an app dedicated to live audio streaming. The announcement gives SFA fans across the world another way to stay up to date with SFA Athletic broadcasts.
Lumberjack sports fans can listen to TuneIn for live streaming and on-demand radio broadcasts this season as Stephen F. Austin Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield's Lumberjack Sports Properties, announced today a multi-year partnership with the world's largest audio network.
The new streaming agreement between Learfield and TuneIn provides Lumberjack fans complimentary access to a dedicated channel to find SFA game action and related sports programming. TuneIn will air live football and men's basketball games, as well as select women's basketball and other game broadcasts throughout the season.
The new TuneIn partnership provides SFA fans a chance to hear the radio play-by-play for free via the TuneIn mobile app, available on iOS and Android devices, and TuneIn.com. Lumberjack football and basketball games will also continue to be broadcast over the air on Q107 FM in the Nacogdoches and Lufkin area.

"Thanks to this new partnership with TuneIn, our fans and more than 100,000 SFA Alums can hear our games anywhere in the world."
In the event of a University broadcast conflict, TuneIn will air live the marquee sport, as determined by SFA Athletics. TuneIn will air any postseason broadcast that Learfield and SFA retain the streaming rights to. The agreement is in effect this athletic season, 2016-17 through the 2020-21 athletic season.
At the start of the season, fans can simply search "Stephen F. Austin" on the TuneIn app. TuneIn is available for download on iOS and Android, plus more than 200 connected devices.
TuneIn has the most comprehensive free college football coverage in the industry with hundreds of live games from every major conference, including the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC, AAC, MAC and WAC. TuneIn will continue to carry every play-by-play broadcast and additional shoulder college football content from nearly all of the Top 25 ranked programs.
