NACOGDOCHES, Texas – In a collaborative effort to increase access to coaching education in East Texas, the Stephen F. In conjuction with the newly developed Lumberjack Sports Institute, the three programs will be offering coaching clinics in Nacogdoches over the next few months.

Head SFA football coach Clint Conque will follow with Football 101 on Saturday, Feb. 20. Both courses will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on their respective dates.
Rounding out the first wave of classes is the SFA Performance and Strength Training session with SFA head strength coach Dan Eason on Friday, April 15. The class is set to start at 8:00 a.m. and run until 2:30 p.m.
In all three training disciplines, programming will be designed for beginning and experienced coaches alike. Attendees will be able to learn from SFA’s experienced Division I coaches and observe how they prepare to compete.
Each registered member will be provided a light continental breakfast, a box lunch, light snacks throughout the day and a binder with all sessions included. The events will take place rain or shine as an inclement weather plan is in place.
