Spots Still Available For Free NGWSD Clinic Saturday

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin's Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) will be taking part in National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday, February 7, 2015, holding a free sports camp/clinic.

The free event is being offered to all girls ages 7-12, being held at the SFA HPE Gym and Shelton Gym from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Each of the SFA women's athletic programs will be participating, giving attendees a hands-on experience to work with the Ladyjack student-athletes and discovering new athletic opportunities.
In addition to getting the opportunity to interact with a number of the Ladyjack student-athletes, participants will receive a t-shirt, as well as a ticket for free admission to the SFA men's and women's basketball doubleheader against Houston Baptist later that day.
Sponsored by the Women's Sports Foundation, National Girls and Sports Day is a nationwide event, honoring the achievements of female athletes and encouraging participation of girls and women in sports.
