Gordo And Lorca Named Second Team All-SLC

2014 Southland Conference Tennis Bracket 

FRISCO, Texas - Juniors Malena Gordo and Julia Lorca were named to the All-Southland Conference second team for doubles for the Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team, announced league officials on Wednesday afternoon.

The tandem led the Ladyjacks to a 9-4 record in No. 1 doubles, going 7-3 in conference play. 

SFA will next compete in the SLC Tournament. The tournament will be held April 25-27 at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Complex on the campus of Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. The Ladyjacks will enter as a No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 Nicholls State at 11:00 a.m. on April 25.
