SFA Tennis Team To Learn NCAA Tournament Seeding Today

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team will gather Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Champions Room to watch the 2012 NCAA Championship Selection Show on NCAA.com for the unveiling of the championships bracket.
SFA is coming off a weekend in which they won their first ever Southland Conference Tournament Championship, knocking off UT-Arlington, 4-0. The No. 46th ranked Ladyjacks, 23-4, have already set a program record for wins in a single season and winning percentage.
The first and second rounds of the NCAA Tennis Championships are scheduled for May 11-12 at 16 four-team sites in both the men's and women's tournament. The winner of each of the 16 sites on both sides will earn a bid to the finals site in Athens, Ga., May 17-22. Complete team brackets will be posted on NCAA.com approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the show. The fields for the individual singles and doubles portion of the tournament will be announced no later than 5 p.m. on Wed., May 2.
