Equestrian Advances To Nationals For Second Straight Year

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack equestrian team has advanced to the Varsity Equestrian National Championships for the second consecutive year, announced head coach Leigh Rush Monday afternoon. The Ladyjacks advanced in both English and Western events and are seeded 11th in Western and 12th in English.
SFA's Western squad will face sixth-seeded South Carolina in the first round in both Western Horsemanship and Reining. In English, SFA will face Auburn for the second time this season in both Equitation on the Flat and Equitation Over Fences.
The championships will take place April 17-19th at the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo Complex in Waco, Texas.
