SFA Equestrian Falls to Baylor, OSU at Nationals

WACO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack equestrian team was swept in both English and Western competitions in the first day of the Varsity Equestrian National Championships at the Heart of Texas Arena in Waco, Texas.

The Ladyjacks, who were seeded 11th in both divisions, were swept by Baylor, 8-0, in hunt seat competition before falling, 7-1, to Oklahoma State in western riding.

In western reining, Monika Brindley scored SFA's lone point when she edged OSU's Rachel Currat, 143-142.
