NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks fell to 5-4 on the year after a 13-7 loss to Auburn Sunday morning. The Ladyjacks took a 3-2 win in the reining portion of the Western show with the highest score coming from Monika Brindley.
Kayle Bernal and Jamie Melgares also scored points for SFA in the reining portion with 68.5 points apiece.
SFA's Shannon Zelikoff was named the Equitation Over Fences MVP after scoring a section high 84 points.
In the hunt seat portion, Auburn won 7-3 and took a 6-4 win in Western riding.
The Ladyjacks will return to the arena Saturday, March 24, against Tennessee-Martin.
