
Ladyjack Fall at Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack equestrian team's win streak came to an end Saturday afternoon in Athens, Ga. The Lady Bulldogs won all four event areas to record at 15-5 victory over SFA. The loss marks the Ladyjacks' first set back of the season, falling to 4-1 (.800).
The Bulldogs took a 4-1 lead after the completion of the horsemanship. The Ladyjacks kept it close in the equitation over fences, but Georgia outscored SFA by one, 3-2, in the event to take a 7-3 lead. SFA recorded one victory in the western reigning, but the Lady Bulldogs increased its lead to 11-4 heading into the final event.
The Ladyjacks return to action Saturday, Jan. 27 when they will face one of the premier programs in the country, South Carolina.
