Ladyjack Netters Travel to Shreveport

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team (0-3) will be in Shreveport, La., Saturday to take on Centenary. The match against the Ladies is slated to get underway at 11 a.m.
SFA kicked-off the 2003 home schedule last weekend with a pair of matches. But the injury-plagued Ladyjack team lost to North Texas, 6-0, Saturday. SFA returned to action Sunday against Tyler Junior College, but lost to the Apache Lades, 6-1. Freshman Megan Langston picked up the Ladyjacks' singles victory with her 6-2, 6-2, win over Kayla Bowden at No. 4 singles. SFA opened the 2003 season with a 4-3 setback at Louisiana Tech.
The Ladyjacks will continue the season Friday March 7, when they host Abilene Christian. The match is slated to get underway at 9 a.m., from the SFA Tennis Courts.
