Five Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack players scored in double figures Thursday night, led by LaShinda Winters' 13-points, as SFA eased past Southeastern Louisiana 65-49 to move to 18-3 overall and 13-0 in Southland Conference play.
Leading by only three at the half, 27-24, SFA came out in the second half and held SLU to only 33% from the field in the second half, while connecting on just over 48% themselves. Winters led the way for the 'Jacks with her 13-points.
Joining her in double figures were Tami Rater and Nathesia Wright with 11 each, and Jessica Guild and Chaquita Dilworth with 10 points each.
The Ladyjacks return to the court Saturday evening in Thibodaux as they take on Nicholls State at 5:30.
