Ladyjack Basketball Remains Undefeated After Win Over Sam Houston

HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack Basketball team defeated the Sam Houston State Ladykats 77-51 Thursday, January 25, 2001 in Huntsville to leave SFA 16-3, 11-0.
Leading the Ladyjacks was junior, forward Chaquita Dilworth with 11 points. Dilworth shot 100% from the field (2-2) and .875 (7-8) from the free-throw line. She also had two steals and assists for the night.
Another Ladyjack in double figures was senior Tami Rater with 10 points. Rater shot .625 (5-8) from the field. Junior Latisha Prater helped her team by accumulating four steals, team high for the night.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Saturday, January 27 at 4:15 PM in Nacogdoches. SFA will be facing the Lamar Lady Cardinals in William R. Johnson Coliseum.
