SFA Places 11 on Southland Conference Track and Field All-Academic Teams

Southland Conference All-Academic Teams
FRISCO, Texas – A total of 11 SFA Track and Field student-athletes were recognized on the league's All-Academic team, per a release from the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. The list recognizes the top academic performers in the league, and was comprised of 39 men and 45 women.
Representing the Lumberjack men was Trenton Bridges (Throws), Branson Ellis (Pole Vault), Asani Hylton (Multis), Muzuri Mattar (Sprints/Relays) and Cord Neal (Javelin). On the women's side, Kaylee Bizzell (Pole Vault), Mathilde Coquillaud-Salomon (Hurdles, Multis), Avery Ellis-Byerly (Multis), Nissi Kabongo (High Jump), Brianna Nolen (Distance) and Kelsey Ramirez (Distance).
Ellis, Bizzell and Ellis-Byerly are all repeat selections after having been selected once before for the All-Academic teams, while Ramirez is making her third appearance on the All-Academic squads. Bridges, Ellis, Hylton, Mattar, Coquillaud-Salomon, Kabongo and Ramirez were all automatic selections by virtue of their All-Conference performances at the conference
