
McIlhargey Joins Ladyjacks as Video Coordinator

Kuna, Idaho native recently completed four-year stint at University of Idaho
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin head women's basketball coach Mark Kellogg announced Friday the addition of Ethan McIlhargey as the new video coordinator for the Ladyjacks' staff. McIlhargey will begin working with the Ladyjacks immediately and joins the SFA community following a four-year stint as a student assistant at the University of Idaho.
While at the University of Idaho, McIlhargey spent four years working with the women's basketball team, where he assisted with travel, game and practice video, recruiting materials, social media, and practice logistics. During his time there, the Vandals were led by the winningest coach in Vandals history, Jon Newlee, resulting in McIlhargey being a part of two WAC Tournament championships, one WAC regular season championship, one Big Sky tournament championship and three NCAA tournament appearances.

McIlhargey joins a Ladyjack program that is coming off a 25-win effort in the second season under head coach Mark Kellogg. The Ladyjacks also posted a 14-4 record in Southland Conference play, and advanced to play in the SLC Tournament Championship game. The 'Jacks later accepted a bid to play in the WBI Tournament, which marked their 30th postseason appearance in the history of the program, and the third appearance of SFA in the WBI Tournament.
McIlhargey completed his undergraduate degree while at the University of Idaho, and is pursuing a master's degree in mass communication from Stephen F. Austin.
