
Attaway Receives National Weekly Honor

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Junior quarterback Brady Attaway has been named FCS Football Player of the Week by CollegeSportsMadness.com. The honor comes following SFA's impressive 44-10 Homecoming victory over Nicholls State Saturday.
Attaway completed 63 percent of his passes for 474 yards and five touchdowns in the victory. Attaway's 41 completions tie for the fourth-best single-game mark in program history.
Attaway is in the midst of one of the best stretches of his career. He has completed 80 passes for 1,019 yards and 11 touchdowns in the past two games. The Whitehouse, Texas native enters Saturday's game ranked among the school's all-time top five in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes and total offense.
The Lumberjacks return to action Saturday when they travel to Lake Charles, La., to take on McNeese State. The game is slated to begin at 7 p.m. from Cowboy Stadium, and will be televised on the Southland Television Network.
