
Lumberjack Golf Struggles at Louisiana Tech

CHOUDRANT, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack team golf team is currently 12th overall at the Louisiana Tech Bulldog Classic after a two-day score of 314-311 - 625 on the par 72 7,105-yard Squire Creek Country Club course.
Sophomore Mitchell McLeroy has been the 'Jacks most consistent player. He is currently tied for 22nd overall with a six-over par 150 (75-75). The 'Jacks have been unable to group the rest of the team around McLeroy.
Senior Ricky Wilkenfeld is currently tied for 52nd overall after carding a 79-78 - 157. Sophomore Austin Green is two strokes back of Wilkenfeld with a two-round 159. Green enters Tuesday's final round tied for 57th overall. Senior Kyle Robbins and junior Stetson McMillan have struggled in the opening two rounds. Both players are tied for 60th overall with a 160.
SFA will close out the Bulldog Classic Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
