Tournament Games Delayed

SAN MARCOS, Texas - Due to heavy rains in the San Marcos area, Friday's Southland Conference Softball Tournament games have been postponed. Stephen F. Austin was scheduled to meet Nicholls at 11 a.m. in the first loser's bracket game of the day.
If the rains stop by 4 p.m., there will be a two-hour delay to ready the field for play with the SFA-Nicholls game scheduled to start at 6:30 or 7 p.m. The next scheduled game would pit Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and UT Arlington and would follow SFA's game.
The rest of Friday's action would be pushed back until Saturday.
