FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Stephen F. Austin senior thrower Frednisha Marshall competed in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday afternoon in Fayetteville, Ark. It marked the second consecutive year that Marshall has advanced to the NCAA Indoor Championships.
A 2009 indoor All-American, Marshall recorded a throw of 18.78 meters in the event to finish 12th overall, just missing All-American honors. A four-time SLC individual champion, Marshall was the only athlete from a Texas university or the Southland Conference competing in the event.
