Ladyjack Academic Shootout Set for Feb 20th

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team has scheduled the annual Academic Shootout for Saturday, Feb. 20, when it hosts Southeastern Louisiana. The game will begin at 6 p.m. from the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
The Ladyjacks will have a table set up at the front gate of the Coliseum where fans can make pledges. Fans can pledge a certain amount, or can pledge on a per point basis. The table will be available at all SFA home games.
The funds raised from the Academic Shootout goes to help pay for the Ladyjacks' summer school classes.
The Ladyjacks are currently 9-7 (.563) on the season, and lead the Southland Conference East Division with a 4-1 (.800) conference record. SFA just returned from Hammond, La., where they recorded a 75-61 victory over Southeastern Louisiana. The Lady Lions are currently 8-10 (.444) on the season, and 2-3 (.400) in conference play.
The Ladyjacks will look to remain atop the SLC East Division standings when they face Northwestern State (10-7/3-1 SLC).
