NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Sunday's regular-season finale between Stephen F. Austin and UTSA has been called off due to heavy early-morning rains. The two teams split in their series-opening doubleheader on Saturday.
The Ladyjacks end the season with a 28-25 overall record. Going into Sunday's games, SFA is tied with UT-Arlington for fourth place in the Southland Conference standings. Both teams sport 17-12 records in conference play. The Mavericks hold the tie-breaker edge over SFA due to their three-game sweep earlier this season, so SFA would enter next week's SLC Tournament as the No. 5 seed if the tie is not broken. A UTA loss against Southeastern Louisiana today would make SFA the No. 4 seed.
Senior Day activities, originally planned for Sunday, will be moved to a different time and location.
