PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team's current six-game win streak has propelled the team to a No. 11 national ranking according to the Sports Network FCS Top 25 poll. SFA also moved to No. 15 in the FCS Coaches Top 25 poll following the 'Jacks' recent 42-3 victory over rival Sam Houston State.
The Lumberjacks are riding a six-game win streak, which includes three-straight Southland Conference wins. SFA, who sits atop the conference standings, has received its highest ranking since cracking the top five during the 2004 season.
The Lumberjacks will put their six-game win streak on the line Saturday when they travel to San Marcos, Texas, to face Texas State. The game against the Bobcats is slated to begin at 2 p.m. from Bobcat Stadium.
