SFA Soccer Opens Exhibition Slate

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team reported for camp just two days ago, but the Ladyjacks will get their first test of the preseason Friday evening, when they travel to Shreveport, La., to take on Centenary in an exhibition. The game is set for a 7 p.m. start.
SFA returns nine starters from last season's 9-8-1 team. The Ladyjacks went 5-2-1 against Southland Conference competition to finish third in the league. Centenary is coming off a 4-11-1 campaign in 2006 but brings back its top four scorers and starting goalkeeper from last season.
The Ladyjacks will resume fall camp following the scrimmage before concluding their exhibition slate with a home date against TCU next Wednesday.
