
SFA High Jump Duo Competes at Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack track and field team had two athletes compete on the final day of competition at the Texas Relays Saturday afternoon in Austin, Texas. Senior Ryder Peacock and junior Justin Reyes recorded solid efforts in the high jump.
Both Peacock and Reyes cleared a height of 6-6.75 to finish among the field's top five. Peacock was awarded third place in the event due to the tiebreak, while Reyes finished fourth overall.
The track and field team will return to action when it send athletes to three different events beginning Thursday, April 12th, at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif. SFA will also compete in the John Jacobs Invitational Distance Carnival beginning Friday, April 13th in Norman, Okla. SFA will also travel to conference-rival Northwestern State to compete in the Northwestern State Invitational. The NSU Invitational will begin Friday, April 13th, and run through Saturday, April 14th.
