SFA Places 42 on SLC Academic Honor Roll

NACOGDOCHES - Stephen F. Austin placed 42 athletes on the Hibernia Bank/Southland Commissioner's Fall Academic Honor Roll, announced league officials Saturday, Feb. 24th. Junior Rodney Joseph repeated as SLC cross country student-athlete of the year, while junior Laura Cramer was named league volleyball player of the year.
The honor roll recognizes student-athletes who competed in championship sports during the fall semester and maintained 3.0 grade point average, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
The Lumberjack football team led the way with 13 selections, while the SFA soccer team had 12 players receive the academic honor. The Ladyjack volleyball team placed nine members on the squad. The SFA cross country team had eight athletes selected, including five members from the 2005 SLC champion men's team.
