
Golfers Twelfth at Arkansas-Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack golf team entered the final round of play Tuesday in the Arkansas-Little Rock First Tee Collegiate tied for 12th in the 15-team field. SFA was 28 strokes back of Southland Conference foes Lamar and Texas-Arlington, who were tied for the lead after two rounds.
Lumberjack freshman Josh Irving shot 76 in each of the first two rounds to head into the final day tied for 30th. Senior Jason Landry cared a 79 in the opening round and 74 in Round 2 and came into Tuesday's play tied for 37th. Senior Brian Grossman was 40th with scores of 79 and 75, freshman Jonathan Porter shot 75 and 81 and sophomore Tyler Trichell turned in rounds of 82 and 76.
The tournament will conclude Tuesday afternoon with the completion of Round 3.
